The Solo Founder Story: Hudson was just 21 when he noticed Dress for Success NWA was drowning in spreadsheets and expensive tool bills. Salesforce was the corporate answer, but it cost thousands in consultant fees to set up, and cheaper tools didn't talk to each other. Nonprofits were forced to choose between custom database bills and scattered data silos.
Hudson decided to change that. He built a modular system where nonprofits only pay for what they use. DatoVero started in Arkansas as a single custom application and has since evolved into a full-scale multi-tenant SaaS platform. It gives small, mission-driven nonprofits access to enterprise-grade donor CRM, grant tracking, and reporting tools without enterprise pricing.
