Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 30, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how DatoVero LLC uses cookies and similar technologies on datovero.com and within the Service. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use related technologies such as secure tokens. We keep our use of these technologies minimal.

How we use them

Strictly necessary (always on). These are required for the Service to work and cannot be turned off through our site:

  • Authentication/session cookies — keep you securely signed in. They are set as httpOnly and secure so they can’t be read by scripts.
  • Security cookies/tokens — support features like two-factor authentication, per-device sessions, and (where used) kiosk check-in tokens.

Analytics (first-party, privacy-preserving). We collect basic, aggregated usage statistics to understand and improve the Service. Where IP addresses are used for analytics, we hash them so they are not stored in identifiable form.

What we do NOT use. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites for advertising.

Your choices

Because we use only strictly-necessary and privacy-preserving first-party cookies, there is no advertising tracking to opt out of. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, but disabling strictly-necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in or using core features.

Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices evolve and will update the “Last updated” date above.
