Pricing

How does DatoVero pricing work?

We offer a modular pricing model. You start with a base plan of $35/month, which includes the core events module and management dashboards. From there, you add other modules (e.g., Volunteers, Donors, Grants) as add-ons. You only pay for the active modules you choose.

What is the every-6-free rule?

To make the platform highly affordable, for every 6 add-on modules you activate, the cheapest module is automatically free. This applies dynamically to your monthly bill.

Modules

Can I add or remove modules at any time?

Yes. You can manage your activated modules instantly from the "My Modules" section in your Account Dashboard. Activating a module provisions its features immediately, while deactivating prorates your subscription billing.

What is the difference between Starter, Growth, and Power tiers?

Each module supports three tiers: Starter is for core operations, Growth adds advanced reporting and API integrations, and Power unlocks our automated AI agents and predictive analytics.

How is my nonprofit's data kept separate?

Every nonprofit's data is isolated at the row level and protected by strict access controls, so your records are only ever visible to your own team. Your portal and its data are set up automatically when you complete sign-up.

How long does the portal setup take?

Your portal is ready in seconds. Once setup completes, you will receive a welcome email with a password-setup link to access your live portal.

Can I customize the portal with my own branding?

Absolutely. In Account Settings, you can configure your organization name, primary theme color, secondary background color, accent details, and upload your custom logo. These brand settings sync to your portal in real time.

How do staff members and clients log in to our portal?

Your portal runs on a dedicated domain (e.g., yourorg.datovero.com). Your staff and clients log in directly via that portal landing page, completely separate from the central marketplace.

Security

Is my organizational data isolated and secure?

Yes. Data isolation is a core design principle of DatoVero. Strict row-level security keeps every nonprofit's data fenced off, so your donors, volunteers, and financial records never mix with other organizations.

Who owns the records stored in my portal?

You own 100% of your data. If you ever decide to leave DatoVero, you can export all of your records as CSV or JSON at any time, and we will help you migrate cleanly.

Nonprofit Discounts

Do you offer a nonprofit discount?

Yes. Registered 501(c)(3) organizations qualify for custom discounts. You can apply directly through the Account Dashboard by entering your EIN and uploading your IRS determination letter.

How long does the nonprofit discount review process take?

We review discount applications within 2 business days. Once verified, the discount is automatically applied to all subsequent billing cycles.
